While the bar may look welcoming at first glance , what I experienced behind its threshold was disturbing and far below any standard .

The floors were sticky , and a foul smell of decaying beverages and neglected washrooms suffused the entire venue . Reeking of a mixture of ammonia , a rotting odor and illness . The main bar, which should be the primary feature of any pub, was cluttered with dirty glasses and refuse that looked like it had been ignored for a long time . The toilet was in even more deplorable shape — backed up, with a broken handle and walls stained in what I can only assume was feces.
It wasn’t just a rare instance either. Based on the experiences shared online and talking to people around , it seems that the quality of upkeep (or lack thereof) at this pub is a well-known flaw .
